DUROC pork comes from a supreme Spanish pig breed which is fed on chestnut, acorn and raised in free range farms. DUROC pork is reputed for its strong original taste which requires little seasoning. The finely dispersed marbling guarantees its succulence and tenderness. It is also a relatively healthy choice of pork as it is high in nutrition values. The “Secreto”, known as “secret cut” comes from the pig’s shoulder to the loin, has little fat content and is even juicier after sous vide.

Please completely defrost and follow the instructions below:

1. Boil water to 100 Degrees Celsius.
2. Turn off the flame. Put the pack into hot water and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Keep pot lid off.
3. Open package and take pork “secreto” out.
4. Dry pork “secreto” with kitchen paper towel.
5. Take herbs out from the package and place aside with butter for later use.
6. Heat pan in full flame with oil until hot and a little white smoke is produced.
7. Put pork “secreto” into the pan and sear for 1 to 1.5 minutes.
8. Flip the pork “secreto” and add butter and herbs next to it.
9. Baste melted butter onto the pork “secreto” while searing for another 1 to 1.5 minutes until pork “secreto” is golden.
10. Your pork “secreto” is ready to be served!
